At Home Date Night Ideas
1. Game night
Take a break from the TV. Pick your favorite game, have lots of snacks (or desserts), and have a blast!
2. Movie + Air Mattress + Snacks
Go all out! Blow up an air mattress, grab your favorite movie snacks, pizza, drinks, and watch a movie together in the living room. Better than the theatre!
3. Backyard Picnic
If the weather is nice, take your at home date outside! Set up a picnic blanket and your favorites eats + drinks. Light outdoor candles, string lights, and enjoy being outside together!
4. Dinner on the deck
Take the backyard picnic up a level by setting up a nice dinner together on the deck! Set the table, light candles, and find a cozy playlist. You’ll both appreciate the change of scenery!
5. Hiking
While this is technically not at home, hiking is a great way to get outside, get exercise, and spend time together as a couple!
6. Dance party
Clear the living room floor and set your favorite dancing playlist! Love slow dancing? Light candles and plan out your favorite slow songs. Don’t know how to dance? Learn how to dance together through instructional videos on YouTube!
7. Cooking together
Leave the quick and easy recipes behind and find a more challenging dinner or dessert to make together! We love this cookbook for fun and delicious date night recipes.
8. Date night in a box
Need something different? Subscribe to a date night in a box service and have it delivered to your home every month. SO fun!
9. Work on a puzzle
Working on a puzzle is a great way to wind down and find peace and quiet together. The great thing about a puzzle is that it can last several days, so enjoy this date night for a few evenings in a row!
