Servings 12 servings
- 1 whole turkey (I used a 12 lb turkey)
- 1 1/2 stick butter
- 2 cups whole cranberries
- 8 mandarin oranges
- 1/2 cup Milo's Unsweet Tea
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- salt/pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- paprika to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Prepare the turkey by rinsing and drying (add stuffing if desired).
Rub 1 stick of butter over the entire turkey and season to taste.
Place in a roasting pan with about 1" of water, then roast for about 3 1/2 hours (or about 18 minutes per pound). The internal temperature should be 165 degrees F.
While the turkey is roasting, make the glaze by melting the butter in a sauce pan over medium-high heat.
Add in the fresh cranberries, cooking until they soften.
While the cranberries are cooking, peel the oranges and add in to the saucepan.
Add in Milo’s Unsweet Tea, maple syrup, and brown sugar.
Cook until the glaze thickens and reduces.
Once the turkey is finished roasting and ready to serve, pour or brush the glaze over the entire turkey.
Serve and enjoy!
