3/4 cup white whole wheat flour or regular whole wheat flour 1/4 cup oat flour 1/3 cup rolled oats 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 large egg 1/4 cup salted butter lightly melted 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla 1 Tbsp almond butter 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix the white whole wheat flour, oat flour, rolled oats, and baking soda together.
In a separate bowl, lightly melt the butter and mix with the egg, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and almond butter.
Mix the dry and liquid ingredients together.
Add in the chocolate chips and mix.
Roll dough into balls, place on a baking sheet, and lightly flatten each cookie with a spoon.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
