Creamy Blood Orange Mocktail

Creamy and perfectly sweet, this Blood Orange Mocktail is the perfect drink for any occasion! Made with fresh blood oranges, coconut milk, lime juice, maple syrup to sweeten, and a splash of club soda, this refreshing alcohol-free drink is full of warm spring vibes. Rim the glass with shredded coconut lime for one of the best healthy Mocktail recipes!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 ounces blood orange juice
  • 1 ounce full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • splash club soda
  • lime wedge optional, for rim
  • shredded coconut optional, for rim

Instructions

  • Place the shredded coconut in a shallow dish, then rim the glass with juice from the lime wedge and coconut (optional).
  • Fill the glass with ice.
  • Pour the blood orange juice, coconut milk, lime juice, and maple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice and shake together.
  • Pour into the glass and add club soda to taste (about 1/4 - 1/3 cup)
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use this tool to easily (and quickly) juice the blood oranges.
  • This recipe can easily be doubled (and placed in the same cocktail shaker) for 2 servings!
  • If using canned coconut milk, be sure that it has been well-stirred before adding to the cocktail shaker.
  • It also helps if the coconut milk is at room temperature, especially if using canned milk!
  • Feel free to use ginger beer or even sprite instead of club soda (although these will definitely add more sweetness to the drink).
