Ingredients

French Toast:

  • Recipe for healthy French Toast

Peach Chia Seed Compote:

  • 1 cups frozen peach slices
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds

Instructions

  • Create the French Toast recipe.
  • Once the french toast is created, heat the peach slices over medium heat until they completely thaw.
  • Add the syrup and turn heat to high, until syrup begins to slightly boil.
  • Add vanilla. Continue cooking, mashing the peach slices a little bit.
  • Remove from heat, stir, and add chia seeds.
  • Serve over french toast and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use a bread with healthy grains, high in fiber and nutrients like the ezekiel bread I recommend.
  • Go with fresh fruit topping and skip the unhealthy sugars and chocolate
  • Use a healthy batter for dunking your french toast into, my batter works perfectly and is so delicious
