Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2-3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt/pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Clean the asparagus and trim the ends.
  • Place the asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil.
  • Evenly sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the asparagus.
  • Roast in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the asparagus is crispy on top and tender in the middle.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to use avocado oil or butter instead of olive oil.
  • Minced garlic also works great in this recipe!
  • Adjust the time based on the thickness of the asparagus, checking on it often and tossing halfway through the cooking time.
  • To trim the asparagus, cut about 1-1.5" off of the end of each spear (or where it seems that the "tough" part ends and the "tender" part begins).
