Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond flour or oat flour
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup creamy almond butter or cashew butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Mix the almond flour, protein powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  • Add in the maple syrup, almond butter, and vanilla.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Pour in the chocolate chips and mix.
  • Roll the "dough" into 14-16 protein balls.
  • Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge for later!

Notes

  • Protein bites too dry? Try adding just a little bit more maple syrup or mixing the almond butter with a creamier peanut butter. Add 1 Tablespoon at a time until the texture is right!
  • Store energy bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months! When ready to enjoy, simply let them thaw in the fridge the night before.
