  • 3 15-ounce cans tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 6 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 3 Tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 3 Tablespoons garlic powder
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Whisk gently until everything is mixed well. Turn heat to medium.
  • Simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
  • When the sauce has reduced and has cooked for 20 minutes, remove from the heat and allow it to cool before pouring it into a jar for storing.

Notes

Storing - Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or the freezer for up to 6 months. Thaw in the refrigerator or on the counter and stir well before using.
