Frozen Banana Snickers

These Frozen Banana Snickers are the best afternoon sweet treat! I love that they can be made in just 15 minutes total time, and they're easy to store for whenever you're craving chocolate. My kids and I make these in the summer and it's always so fun! Whether you need an idea for how to use up ripe bananas or you're just craving a Snickers bar, these healthy frozen bananas are so yummy.

Instructions

  • Prepare a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the banana in half, then again lengthwise to make 4 pieces.
  • Place the banana slices on the baking sheet and spread peanut butter over each one.
  • Evenly top with dates and peanuts.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds.
  • Drizzle the chocolate over the bananas and immediately top with flaky salt.
  • Place in the freezer for 10 minutes to set, then enjoy!

Notes

  • Ripe, but not too ripe, bananas are best for this recipe. You don't want them too soft, otherwise they won't be able to hold the toppings very well!
  • I like to store these in the freezer and thaw them in the fridge for about 20 minutes before enjoying.
  • Adjust the toppings to taste - you really can't go wrong with this recipe!
