Ingredients

Apple Syrup (Makes 4-6 Servings)

  • 1 cup apple cider NOT apple cider vinegar!
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 apple sliced

Instructions

Syrup

  • Combine the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  • Continue stirring periodically for 10 minutes.
  • After it has reduced and thickened some, remove from the heat and smash the apples.
  • Allow the syrup to cool completely.
  • Strain through a mesh strainer and store in an airtight container.

Latte

  • Combine the chai concentrate and oat milk, and sweeten to your taste.
  • Stir well and pour over ice in a large glass that has room at the top for the cold foam.

Cold Foam

  • In a small class, stir to combine the oat milk and the apple crisp syrup.
  • Use a frother to froth the oat milk until thickened, foamy, and bubbly.
  • Pour over the latte, top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and enjoy!

  • Store the syrup in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • The recipe for the syrup yields 4-6 servings (about 2 Tablespoons each), but the latte and cold foam ingredients are for 1 latte.
