Whipped Feta Recipe

In just 5 minutes, this easy Whipped Feta Dip is ready for hosting friends, throwing a party, or simply for snacking. It's SO flavorful, creamy, tangy, and surprisingly light, and the topping possibilities are virtually endless. This easy recipe is my go-to appetizer and always a win!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 8-ounce block block feta drained
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Mix-Ins/Toppings

  • 1 Tablespoon toasted pine nuts
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1-2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  • Combine the feta, yogurt, lemon juice, seasoning, and olive oil in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend the ingredients until smooth and pour the dip into a serving bowl or container.
  • Add the toppings and lightly mix them in.
  • Enjoy with cucumbers, tomatoes, pita bread, and so much more!

Notes

Tips:
Use block feta, not crumbled.
Allow the feta to come to room-temp before blending.
Put the dip in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before serving.
Storing: Store in an airtight container, in the refrigerator, for 4-5 days. Stir it well before serving.
