It helps that one of my top 5 strengths is actually futuristic. So on a personal level, I love planning for the future but maybe don’t enjoy the “doing” part as much. Anyone else like that? If you are, then you’re probably going to enjoy this post! If you’re not, then maybe this post can really help you out. Either way, it’s super important to stay ahead of the curve and be futuristic when it comes to your blog!
1.) Stay ahead of the curve.
Do your research! What’s trending on Pinterest? What are the food trends this year? Stay ahead of the trends in your niche. One of the ways that I do this is through Food Blogger Pro. Every month they send out a “trending now” newsletter that helps food bloggers plan their recipes for the month ahead!
2.) Use a blog planner.
If you’re a paper person like I am, a physical blog planner is the best thing on earth. Especially when it’s the EPIC BLOG: One-Year Editorial Planner!
3.) Use Asana to plan ahead.
Guys, Asana is my fave!! If you’re looking for a FREE online editorial calendar, Asana is great. Here’s a great post about how to use Asana as an editorial calendar!
4.) Use Evernote for brainstorming, to-do lists, and ideas.
Evernote is laid out really well for brainstorming! I love using it for big projects like our website upgrade, ebooks, and events that I’m planning. It’s essentially an online notebook!
