1. Berry Breakfast Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup strawberries (frozen)
- 1/2 cup blackberries (frozen)
- 1 cup raspberries (frozen)
- 1 cup Silk Unsweetened Original Almondmilk
- 2 bananas
Instructions: Blend the ingredients together and enjoy! Another option is to blend everything together, then freeze in a mason jar. Whenever you’re ready for your smoothie, simply remove the jar from the freezer and thaw!
Note: Feel free to also use Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk for added flavor!
2. Almond Milk Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 banana
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup Silk Unsweetened Original Almondmilk
Instructions: Blend the rolled oats to a flour-like texture. Mix together with the banana, egg, and Silk Unsweetened Original Almondmilk. In a pan over medium heat, cook the pancakes (with a little bit of oil) about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned. Serve and enjoy!
3. Savory Porridge Bowl
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup Silk Unsweetened Original Almondmilk
- 1/2 cup arugula
- 1 small avocado (sliced)
- 1 egg
Instructions: Bring the oats and water to a boil in a medium sized pot. Lower the heat and let simmer for about 7-10 minutes. While the oats are simmering, add in the spices and Silk Unsweetened Original Almondmilk. Place the oats in bowls and top with fresh arugula, avocado slices, and an egg (any way you want it)!
