Getting Back Into Healthy Eating with Daily Harvest

This post is sponsored by Daily Harvest.

Want to start eating healthy again but not sure where to begin? Today I’m sharing how I’m getting back into healthy eating and all about my experience with Daily Harvest!

As many of you know from my last post, I am just coming out of the first trimester of my pregnancy. And while we are so excited for adding a little one to our family, those first few months of pregnancy have been TOUGH! With being very sick and nauseated, it’s been difficult to eat healthy food and cook meals. We’ve been in survival mode over here, picking up food and eating out!

Thankfully, I’m finally ready to get back into healthy eating and incorporating a healthy living routine once again. As I ease into it, I wanted to share a resource with you guys that has been a total lifesaver (especially with a little toddler running around). Daily Harvest has come through at just the right time to save the day!

Getting back into healthy eating

Not being able to cook my own meals over the past few months has made it incredibly difficult to eat healthy. Now that I’m finally on the uprise and feeling a little bit better, I’m ready to ease back into a healthy lifestyle! Whether you’re getting back into healthy eating or starting out for the first time, it’s nice to know that there’s a nutritious and easy option that can be delivered right to your doorstep.

My Daily Harvest Review

I’m SO excited that I discovered the goodness of Daily Harvest! Daily Harvest is a nutritious meal delivery plan that is vegan, gluten free, healthy, and delicious. They deliver their unique recipes to your doorstep on a weekly or monthly basis and are perfect for those busy times of life (like being pregnant with a toddler running around – lifesaving!). Here’s what I’m personally loving about Daily Harvest:

  • It’s SO convenient! Just grab your meal out of the freezer, heat it up in a few easy steps, and done.
  • They have smoothies, harvest bowls, soups, oat bowls, bites, and lattes – yum!
  • All of the thinking is done for you. No worrying about making sure that your meals are nutritionally balanced!
  • No grocery shopping or cooking.
  • All of the meals are clean and plant-based. And did I mention how crazy delicious they are???
  • Daily Harvest cacao bites in a bowl on a countertop.
  • Daily Harvest strawberry and peach smoothie.

How to use Daily Harvest

I love everything about Daily Harvest (seriously), but if I had to pick two of my absolute favorites, I would say it’s the smoothies and the harvest bowls since they’re perfect as meals and snacks. I was particularly craving summer fruit the other day (anyone else really over winter??), so I made the strawberries + peach smoothie. It was so easy to put together!

To make smoothies: simply add your favorite liquid (almond milk, juice, etc.), pour everything into a blender and blend, then pour it back into the cup and enjoy!

  • Daily Harvest strawberry and peach smoothie with almond milk.
  • Daily Harvest ingredients in a blender.
  • Smoothie ingredients in a blender before blending.
  • Woman's hands blending a strawberry smoothie.

To make the harvest bowls: pour the cup ingredients into a pan, cook for a few minutes, and place back in the cup or a bowl to enjoy!

  • Daily Harvest harvest bowl being poured out into a cooking pan.
  • Cooking the ingredients of a Daily Harvest harvest bowl in a pan.
  • Daily Harvest harvest bowl on a countertop.

The end result? Amazing, delicious, nutritious meals that are perfect for getting back into healthy eating. While I may try to start cooking dinners again, I’m planning on continuing to order from Daily Harvest for breakfasts, snacks, and lunches in order to save time and make sure that I’m getting the nutrition that I need. I seriously could not have discovered Daily Harvest at a better time!

I’m so glad you are feeling better from the first tri. It’s so hard to grow a baby!
I love this idea to get healthy items at home. They sound super tasty and easy to use.
