Getting back into healthy eating
Not being able to cook my own meals over the past few months has made it incredibly difficult to eat healthy. Now that I’m finally on the uprise and feeling a little bit better, I’m ready to ease back into a healthy lifestyle! How to use Daily Harvest
I love everything about Daily Harvest (seriously), but if I had to pick two of my absolute favorites, I would say it’s the smoothies and the harvest bowls since they’re perfect as meals and snacks. I was particularly craving summer fruit the other day (anyone else really over winter??), so I made the strawberries + peach smoothie. It was so easy to put together!
To make smoothies: simply add your favorite liquid (almond milk, juice, etc.), pour everything into a blender and blend, then pour it back into the cup and enjoy!
To make the harvest bowls: pour the cup ingredients into a pan, cook for a few minutes, and place back in the cup or a bowl to enjoy!
The end result? Amazing, delicious, nutritious meals that are perfect for getting back into healthy eating. While I may try to start cooking dinners again, I’m planning on continuing to order from Daily Harvest for breakfasts, snacks, and lunches in order to save time and make sure that I’m getting the nutrition that I need.
