There’s no doubt that the holidays are crazy busy for almost everyone. With holiday parties, events, and Thanksgiving right around the corner, our schedules are filling up with so much! It’s easy to let this season pass us by without even stopping to enjoy it. That’s why we’re sharing our November Bucket List today!
Our focus this month is GRATITUDE. Focusing on the amazing people in our lives, the opportunities we’ve been given, and what we have at this very moment. Expressing our gratitude is essential for living with joy, and taking a month to focus on it is essential for a healthy mindset!

November Bucket List
1. Host friendsgiving
Create a fall tablescape (or keep it simple), invite friends over and host a fun friendsgiving! Not up for cooking a turkey? Here are a few other recipe ideas:

2. Write a thank you letter

Keep a mason jar on a table or desk that the entire family can get to. Set small pieces of paper and a pen next to it. Throughout the month, make it a daily practice to write down something or someone you and your family are grateful for and fill the jar. On Thanksgiving, read the notes aloud as a fun and inspiring tradition!
5. Bake a pie

If you haven’t already, then it’s time to decorate for fall! Add fall foliage to your table, mums to your front porch, and fall decor around your fireplace to give your home a November feel.
7. Start a gratitude journal
Writing down what your grateful is a great way to start and end your day. Start a gratitude journal to shift your mindset and focus on what matters!

With the cold weather setting in, there’s nothing cozier than a bowl of delicious homemade chili for dinner! Make a big batch of chili on Sunday and have it ready to go throughout the week. Here are a few of our favorite recipes:

Tis’ the season for apple cider! Make a big batch of it for your next gathering or have a cup in the evening as you settle in for the night. Apple cider is a great way to celebrate the month of November!

With Thanksgiving around the corner, this is a great time to donate non-perishable food or money to your local food bank!
11. Send out gratitude notes
Who are you grateful for? Send out gratitude notes to your kid’s teachers, friends, coworkers, the postman, your doctor, hairstylist, etc. While the gesture may feel small, having a written note and feeling appreciated will speak volumes!
12. Stay in and watch a fall-themed movie
Plan a night (or two, or three) where you stay home, get in your cozy pajamas, and watch a fall-themed movie. Don’t forget the yummy fall snacks!
