Late summer recipes, end-of-summer vibes, back-to-school, and getting ready for structure and routines. August is here! And it’s a hodgepodge of feels for me.
For starters, Ollie is starting Mother’s Day Out this fall. So all the feels there! But on the flip side, I love how this month always starts prepping me for fall and the upcoming change of seasons. By the end of this month, like so many others, I’m always BEYOND ready for the cooler weather. But I love how it brings on an excitement and anticipation of the things to come!
In the meantime, my focus for this month is to get organized and prepared as we head back to school and back to routines, while still simultaneously celebrating and embracing late summer produce and traditions. With that, I’m excited to live this month to the fullest and be present in the “waiting”!
