Ingredients
- 1/2 bunch asparagus (about 10-12 stalks)
- 1/4 cup infant rice cereal
Instructions
- Wash and cut the asparagus stalks into small pieces, removing the tough end pieces.
- Place the asparagus in a baby food maker or steaming basket and steam for 10-15 minutes (or until soft).
- Blend the asparagus with leftover water from the steaming process to create a puree.
- Mix in infant rice cereal and add more water or breast milk to achieve desired consistency.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or the freezer for up to 3 months!
