The Inspiration
When I found out that I could easily join Campbell’s® and Walmart in the Fight Hunger program by simply using participating ingredients, I knew I absolutely had to be a part of it! I love that this program helps fight food insecurity and child hunger, something that no child should have to worry about. I loved putting together this donation bag for my local food bank using Prego®, Swanson® Chicken Broth, Pace®, andSpaghettiOs®.
Pace® Picante Sauce has always been a family favorite and my mom always used it to add flavor to meats. When I started using it in these Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas, I knew that it was perfect for creating a marinade that sets it apart from the rest. The result? The tastiest, most delicious, easiest fajitas ever!
The Ingredients
I love that I can feel good about the items used in this recipe and the fact that they are being used for the greater good. Here’s what you’ll need to make Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas:
The Marinade
Pace® Picante Sauce – My favorite for all things tacos and fajitas! I used Pace® Picante Medium Sauce in this recipe, but mild works great too. It adds the right amount of flavor and kick, taking these fajitas to another level!
Lime – There’s something about shrimp and lime that just go hand in hand. A little bit of lime juice in this marinade gives it so much flavor!
Garlic – I used freshly minced garlic in this recipe. However, feel free to use garlic powder if necessary!
Seasoning – The seasoning for these Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas is a combination of cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cilantro – Dried or freshly chopped cilantro is sooooooo delicious in this marinade!
Avocado oil – Feel free to use avocado oil or any type of oil that you want!
The Fajitas
Shrimp – The main ingredient in these Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas. I used raw shrimp (peeled and deveined) in this recipe!
Onion – Fresh yellow onion cut into thin slices is best for these fajitas.
Bell Peppers – Use any color of bell pepper that your heart desires!
Whole Wheat Tortillas – Whole wheat, regular, or corn tortillas are all great options.
Topping Ideas
More Picante Sauce – Add a little bit of extra Pace® Picante Sauce for the best fajitas EVER!
Cotija cheese – Add a sprinkle of cotija cheese or feta cheese on top!
Cilantro – Another topping idea is to add more fresh cilantro.
Avocado – Fresh, creamy avocado is so delicious in these fajitas. You can also use this Avocado Lime Dressing recipe!

How to make Easy Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas
Making shrimp fajitas in a sheet pan is one of my favorite, easy ways to make this delicious weeknight dinner! Here’s how to make these in 6 simple steps:
- Mix up the marinade.
- Add a little marinade to the bell peppers and onions, bake on a sheet pan.
- Marinate the shrimp while the vegetables cook.
- Add the shrimp to the sheet pan.
- Bake.
- Place in tortillas, add toppings, and enjoy!
Tips for the shrimp
- It’s best to let the shrimp FULLY thaw before making this recipe.
- Pat the shrimp dry before placing in the marinade.
- Save time and energy by buying shrimp that are already peeled and deveined!
Q: How long does it take shrimp to thaw?
Shrimp can be thawed by placing in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Another option is to place the frozen shrimp in a freezer or sandwich bag and submerge in cold water for 10-20 minutes!
Storing/Reheating
These Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas can be stored in an airtight container (without the tortilla) in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. To reheat, simply microwave the peppers, onions, and shrimp and place them in fresh tortillas. Another reheating option is to heat them up on the stovetop!
