How to Make Fried Shrimp
- Combine the breadcrumbs with seasoning.

- Dip each shrimp in the flour, then in the eggs, and then coat in the breadcrumbs.
- Place the shrimp in a non-stick pan and fry in avocado oil for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
TIP: I recommend using this splash guard for frying shrimp! Trust me, it’s a game-changer.
Making the Shrimp Bowls
- Whisk the sauce ingredients together until smooth.
- Divide the cooked rice between bowls.
- Arrange the cucumber, edamame, and mango around the rice.
- Top with the crispy fried shrimp.
- Drizzle the sweet chili sauce over the bowls.

How to Store
If you have any leftovers, store the shrimp and the bowl ingredients separately. This helps keep the shrimp crispy! Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When ready to eat, reheat the shrimp in an oven or air fryer to maintain the crispiness, and then assemble the bowls.
Crispy Shrimp Variations
- Spicy: Add a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture for an extra kick.
- Coconut: Use coconut flakes mixed with breadcrumbs for a tropical twist!
- Herbed: Mix finely chopped fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro into the breadcrumb mixture for the best herby flavor.
- Sauteed: Not feeling the breading? Leave it out entirely and simply saute the shrimp in a pan with about 1-2 Tablespoons of oil!
