Stack of Chocolate Protein Pancakes topped with blueberries.

These Chocolate Protein Pancakes are great for breakfast, dinner, or a post-workout snack!

Who says pancakes need to be reserved for weekend brunch? I love pancakes for weekday breakfasts (and dinners, for that matter). Mocha Peanut Butter Protein Pancakes, Healthy Sweet Potato Pancakes, Healthy S’more Pancakes, Pecan Pie Pancakes….I’ll take them all! But these Chocolate Protein Pancakes are just hitting the spot right now, friends!

Stack of Chocolate Protein Pancakes with Detox Organics!

How do you make protein pancakes?

The great thing about these protein pancakes is that they’re based off of 3 main ingredients: eggs, protein powder, and a banana. Once you have those 3 ingredients, you can make any variation or flavor that you want!

In this case, I made these Chocolate Protein Pancakes using one of my fave superfoods, Detox Organics Chocolate Superfoods, and added a little bit of cocoa powder for that extra chocolaty taste. I always love incorporating Detox Organics into my chocolate-based recipes because it literally tastes like chocolate milk, blends right in as a powder, and adds so much nutrition to whatever I’m making! Here are a few other recipes that I’ve used Detox Organics Chocolate Superfoods in:

  • Superfood Strawberry Chocolate Brownies
  • Easy Chocolate Banana Smoothie
  • Chocolate Avocado Smoothie

Be sure to try it out, friend! And be sure to use code “JOL” for 15% off of your next order 😉

Pancakes are my guilty pleasure. And they’re ALWAYS better at home. I’ve never added protein powder though… let alone superfoods. Girl, you are doing it right! Can’t wait to try.
