6-Ingredient Pecan Pie Maple Latte
I love the Trader Joe’s maple latte, but I don’t always have their maple butter on hand. So, I came up with this easy homemade maple latte, and honestly (dare I say??) I think it tastes even better than the original! It’s sweet and nutty, like pecan pie bar blended into my morning coffee. Plus, it comes together in minutes!
The best part? You only need six simple ingredients! Blending everything together creates the most velvety “pecan maple butter” base that takes this latte to the next level. Serve it warm for a morning treat, or pour it over ice for a refreshing pick-me-up. Either way, this latte feels like a coffee shop drink made right at home and I know you will be just as obsessed with it as I am!

- Pecan Pie Goodness – The maple syrup, toasted pecans, cinnamon, and vanilla come together to create a dessert-inspired drink even better than a coffee shop.
- Creamy Texture – Blending the pecans into the latte creates a thick, creamy base without any fuss.
- Versatile – Enjoy your latte hot or iced, make it more or less sweet, or swap in pecan butter or candied pecans. You can even turn it into a cold brew or add a splash of bourbon for a fun twist. The options are endless!
- Quick & Easy – Six ingredients and about five minutes are all you need. Just blend, pour, and sip away.

Ingredients
- Maple Syrup – This adds sweetness and the molasses flavor we get with pecan pie.
- Pecan Halves – Unsalted, raw pecans are best!
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla – Enhances the sweetness and adds depth.
- Milk – I like to use Fairlife milk for more protein, but any regular or non-dairy milk will work.
- Espresso – A double shot balances the sweetness and gives the latte a bold coffee flavor.

How to Make a Maple Latte
Ready in 5 minutes, this homemade latte is so much better than store-bought options, and you don’t even have to leave your house. All you need is a blender and a cup or mug! Here’s how to make my Pecan Pie Maple Latte recipe:
- Blend – Add the maple syrup, pecans, cinnamon, and vanilla to a blender, and pulse until smooth.
- Combine – Add the milk, and blend until it’s smooth and frothy.
- Serve – Fill a glass with ice, and pour a double shot of espresso on top. Or, brew a warm cup, if preferred. Pour the milk mixture over the coffee, and stir to combine. Add any toppings, and enjoy!
30-second DIY pecan butter hack: Microwave 3 tablespoons of pecans on a plate for 30-45 seconds to warm the oils and enhance the nutty flavor. Process the nuts in a mini-chopper with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or melted butter, and a pinch of salt until creamy (about 60-90 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides once). Use 1 tablespoon for the latte, and stash the rest.

Tips
- Blend really well for a silky texture. Pecans make this latte super creamy, but be sure to blend long enough so there aren’t any gritty bits.
- Warm the pecans for extra flavor. A quick 15-20 seconds in the microwave or a dry skillet helps release their oils and gives the latte a deeper, toastier flavor.
- Adjust the sweetness to taste. Start with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup if you prefer a less sweet latte, and add more to taste.
- Strain if you prefer a smoother finish. If you want a completely smooth texture, you can strain the blended mixture before adding ice or heating.
- Use a Nespresso Machine for the best, easy to make espresso!

Variations
Maple Bourbon Pecan Latte
Make the base latte as written, then stir in ½-1 tablespoon of bourbon before serving. I recommend serving the latte warm if adding bourbon.
Maple Pecan Cold Brew
Blend the maple, pecans, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk as directed. Then, pour the mixture into a glass of cold brew coffee instead of espresso, add ice, and shake or stir well.
Butter Pecan Latte Recipe
Use 1 tablespoon of pecan butter instead of pecan halves for an even creamier, richer latte. Add ½ tablespoon melted butter or a small splash of butter extract to get that classic butter pecan flavor. Blend the mixture with milk and espresso, then top with cinnamon.
Pecan Pie Coffee Syrup
Blend ¼ cup maple syrup, ¼ cup pecans, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ½ teaspoon vanilla, and 2-3 tablespoons milk until completely smooth. Store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 5 days. Add 1-2 tablespoons to hot coffee, iced coffee, or espresso for instant pecan pie flavor anytime!
Pairing Ideas
Of course, this pecan pie maple latte is fabulous on its own, but I love to treat myself with a sweet breakfast or snack, too. Some of my favorite options include my gingerbread loaf, gingerbread cookie overnight oats, pecan pie pancakes, and Ferrero Rocher chocolate bites.
How to Store
Make Ahead: Blend all the ingredients except the espresso, and store the mixture in an airtight jar in the fridge for 2-3 days. When you’re ready to make your maple latte, shake well, and pour the mixture over freshly brewed espresso. Heat it up, or serve it over ice.
Store: Once blended, this latte is best served right away. However, you can store it in the fridge for up to one day, if needed. Just be sure to give it a good shake or stir to redistribute the ingredients before drinking.
