I love a good Spinach Artichoke Dip. I mean, who doesn’t??
It’s perfect as an appetizer for having people over or as a side for a wholesome weekday lunch. I’ve even added it to pasta as the cream sauce before and had it for dinner (best way to use up leftover spinach artichoke dip, BTW)! The creamy, gooey textures, garlic flavor, hearty artichokes, and wholesome spinach really bring this delicious dip together. This fail-proof recipe is made to impress!

Here’s What You’ll Need
You would never guess how simple the ingredients are for this wholesome spinach artichoke dip! Not to mention super easy to find. Here’s what you’ll need:
Plain Yogurt – That’s right! The base of this recipe is yogurt. Making it a healthier version of the classic recipe, but definitely not sacrificing on flavor!
Cheese – Cream cheese + fresh mozzarella + grated parmesan make up the cheese component in this recipe. I like using low-fat cream cheese for a lighter swap, but any type of cream cheese is great!
Garlic – Freshly minced garlic is the best way to go for the ultimate flavor. However, garlic powder is also a great option!
Artichoke Hearts – These canned artichoke hearts are easy to use in this recipe.
Spinach – Lots and lots of spinach! You know how it is. You put loads of spinach in just for it to cook down to 1 Tbsp. So we’re putting in a bunch, and feel free to add more as desired!
Chopped Red Onion – Totally optional, but it takes this recipe to another level of deliciousness! Mix it in to the spinach artichoke dip or use just a little bit on top for garnish.
Lemon – Lemon is also optional, but I love the bright flavors balanced by the garlic and cheese. I think it also compliments the artichokes and makes this recipe extroardinary!
