Healthy Mango Banana Smoothie Recipe
As we come out of winter and head into spring, I can honestly say that all I want right now is some warm weather and sunshine! Take me to a warm beach where I can lay in the sun all day, and I’ll be a happy gal. Living in the middle of Oklahoma, that doesn’t happen as much as I wish it would.
Thankfully, this Healthy Mango Banana Smoothie is pretty much sunshine vibes in a glass! The flavors are tropical mango smoothie perfection. Made with mango pieces, banana, and milk (of choice), it’s so yummy and one of my favorite healthy breakfast ideas. Add a splash of orange juice and some homemade granola to take it up a notch!

Mango Smoothie Ingredients
You’ll only need 4 simple ingredients and a high-speed blender to make this easy healthy smoothie recipe!
Ripe Banana – A fresh, ripe banana is best! I recommend using a ripe banana since this is a great way to add sweetness to the smoothie recipe. Frozen banana works, too, but you may need to add in a bit more milk to thin out the smoothie.
Frozen Mango Chunks – You can find this in the freezer section of your local grocery store. Feel free to add in frozen pineapple, too!
Plant-Based Milk – Almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, or regular milk are all great options.
Coconut Milk – I like adding a little bit of coconut milk for a tropical twist on this healthy breakfast smoothie! If using canned coconut milk, be sure to give it a stir and mix it with a fork or a whisk before pouring it into the blender.
Pro-tip: Try adding this vegan protein powder (that tastes amazing) to your smoothies to take them to the next level!

How to Make a Banana Mango Smoothie
It’s pretty much the easiest thing EVER. Combine frozen mango + banana + milk. Done! Isn’t that the best? Here’s how to make a Mango Banana Smoothie:
1. Combine ingredients in a blender.
It’s best to put the softer or liquid ingredients in first. I like to add in the fresh banana and milk first, then the frozen mango chunks on top for best results!
2. Blend.
Blend until smooth!
3. Add Toppings & Enjoy!
Take this Healthy Mango Banana Smoothie to the next level by topping it with fresh mango, blueberries, coconut chips, chopped pistachios, and chia seeds. You can always mix in some Greek yogurt for more protein and a creamier texture as well. So yummy!

Can you meal prep smoothies?
Did you know that you can meal prep smoothies in advance? As a busy mom, this has been life-changing for me! Simply blend the smoothie according to recipe directions, then divide it into mason jars with airtight lids. Immediately place in the freezer for up to 3 months!
When ready to enjoy, thaw the smoothies out for a couple of hours before or place them in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds, using a spoon to break up the smoothie and stir every 15 seconds.
